Description: Appearance: EPTC is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with an aromatic odor. Boiling Point: 127°C. Flash Point: 112 Vapour Pressure: 4700mPa(20°C). Stability: soluble in water 375mg/L at 25°C, Miscible with common organic solvents such as acetone, ethyl alcohol, kerosene, MIBK and xylene. Specification: 95%TC, 82%+safener EC, 720EC, 840EC Uses: EPTC is a selective herbicide used for control of annual grassy weeds, perennial weeds, and some broadleaf weeds in beans, forage legumes, potatoes, corn, and sweet potatoes. It is usually applied preemergence, which is before weed seeds germinate, and it is most effective against newly germinated seedlings. EPTC is usually incorporated into the soil immediately after application either mechanically or by overhead irrigation. EPTC is available as emulsifiable concentrates and granular formulations. |
